Q. Why is FOO-ME not connecting to the internet?
A. FOO-ME might fail to connect to the internet due to several reasons:
- The user is not subscribed to WAP or GPRS, or is not connected to WIFI
- Solution: Subscribe to an internet plan with mtctouch or Alfa, or connect to a valid WIFI access point if your phone supports WIFI.
- The user has a WAP or GPRS subscription but the internet settings are not configured.
- Solution: Refer to mtctouch or Alfa support (call 111) and ask for the internet settings.
- The user can connect to the internet through the phone’s mobile browser but cannot connect to the internet inside FOO-ME:
- Solution: Set the right internet settings for FOO-ME which could be one of the following
- For Nokia S40: go to Menu -> Settings -> Configuration-> Personal config.sett. -> and Add a new “Access point”. Then select “Access point settings” -> Bearer settings-> and save the following settings:
- Solution: Set the right internet settings for FOO-ME which could be one of the following
- MTC users? packet data acc.pt = wap.mtctouch.com.lb (no username or pass.)
- ALFA users? packet data acc.pt= wap.mic1.com.lb
User name = mic1
Password = mic1 - For Nokia S60 (Smart phones): Go to Menu -> Settings -> Application Manager -> Installed Apps -> scroll to FOO-ME -> Then click on Menu -> Suite settings -> and choose the right access point.
- For Samsung phones: Go to the folder where FOO-ME is saved, click on menu -> internet options -> and select the access point (WAP or WIFI).
- For Sony Ericsson phones: Go to Main Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity Tab -> Internet Settings -> Internet Profiles and then check that the correct settings are selected.
- For Motorolla phones: Go to Main Menu -> Web Access -> Web Sessions and check that the correct settings are selected.

Q. How can I test if I have internet connection?A. To test if you have internet connection inside FOO-ME, open FOO-ME and go to:
Settings-> Connection -> test Connection.
If the test gives you a green checkmark, then it is working fine. Otherwise, check the above settings if they are correct.
