A. FOO-ME is a mobile application that covers many localized services targetted to the Lebanese mobile subscribers.

A. FOO-ME offers a lot of services. To read more about them, click on the "Features" link in the main menu above.

Q. Do I need a WAP subscription to use FOO-ME?

A.Yes. You need a WAP or a GPRS subscription to use FOO-ME services. However, some of the services offered by your mobile operator does not require a WAP or a GPRS subscription i.e. Credit transfer (transfering credits from your account to another mobile subscriber).

You can also use a WIFI (wireless internet) connection if your phone supports it.

Q. How can I subscribe to WAP access?

A. Please check with your mobile operator.

MTC Subscribers?

  • Pre-Paid Account: Send "MI" in a text message to the short number 1188.
  • Post-Paid Account: Call 111 MTC hotline to enable your WAP subscription.

Alfa Subscribers?

  • Pre-Paid Account: Call 1454 Alfa hotline and chose WAP service from menu #2 to enable your WAP subscription.
  • Post-Paid Account: Call 111 Alfa hotline to enable your WAP subscription.

Q. How can I download/install FOO-ME on my mobile?

A. It is simple. Click on "download" button on the main page (www.foo-me.com) and you will find the 3 download methods:

1st way - Type m.foo-me.com on your mobile browser. Click on the download link and the download will start automatically.

2nd way - Send the download link to your mobile inbox. Type your mobile number and click on "Send Link".

3rd way - Download the FOO-ME package to your PC, unzip the package and then transfer the two files with the extensions (.jad and .jar) to your mobile device either using a bluetooth connection or using the software provided by your handset vendor i.e. Nokia PC Suite.

In case the download fails due to a certificate error, please download only the .jar file.

Q. Where is FOO-ME installed on my mobile?

A. FOO-ME is installed under the "Applications" menu on your mobile. Go to "Applications" and check under the games section. You will find the FOO-ME application there.

You have a NOKIA mobile? You can create a shortcut to the FOO-ME application on your main menu.

Q. Do I pay for new software upgrades?

A. No. You don't have to pay for any software updates. FOO-ME is a free application!

Q. Can I forward this application to someone else?

A. Yes, of course. You can tell a friend about FOO-ME by either referring him/her through this website by clicking on "Tell a Friend" in the main menu above or by referring him/her through your mobile application service "Menu > Tell a Friend".

There are no limits on the referrals. You can referr as many friends as you wish.

Q. How can I suggest a new service?

A.It is simple. Click on the "Feedback" link in the main menu above. Fill in the form with the required information and submit it for our reveiw. We will then contact you should the proposed service be of interest to us.

Q. How can I become a tester?

A.It is simple. Click on the "Feedback" link in the main menu above. You will be later asked to provide a copy of your ID and accept FOO's terms and conditions. Testers are bound to the non-disclosure agreement and should not disclose the content of the new services before their official release.

Q. How much space does FOO-ME need on my mobile?

A. FOO-ME requires around 350 Kilobytes of space considering the initial download and requires up to 1 MB when resources i.e. weather, horoscope, etc.. are downloaded. FOO-ME also requires around 800 KB of RAM.

Q. Why is FOO-ME not working on my mobile?

A. FOO-ME is tested on most of the mobile handsets. FOO-ME is not supported on iPhone and Android mobile handsets. If FOO-ME is not working on your phone, please contact support@foo-me.com or submit a complaint by clicking on the "Feedback" link in the main menu above.
